STRAIGHT SPOUSES PEER SUPPORT GROUP

LGBT Ireland also runs peer support groups for people who are, or have been, married or in a long term heterosexual relationship with someone who has disclosed that they now identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or who are questioning their sexuality or gender identity. The peer support group offers a safe space for individuals to talk openly and confidentially with other individuals who are going through a similar experience.

The group is facilitated by experienced helpline volunteers but there are no agendas and is member focused.

The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month, in Dublin. For more information about this peer support group phone the LGBT Helpline in confidence on 1890 929 539 or check out our Peer Group Support Diary for a group event near you.

Phone group facilitator on 085 876 4519 to register.
